The website and Google calendar was updated September 3rd with the latest information available. If you would like a hard copy of the calendar, you can download it here.  I sent out an e-mail to the entire membership with a message from president Carl Barr.  If you did not receive this e-mail, the most likely reason is it was caught in your district's spam filter.  Please talk to your technology director and have him/her white list the address techchair@pmeadistrict7.org.  The e-mail list I used was the one issued to me from the PMEA state office, so whichever e-mail address is associated with your account is the one I used to send you the update. Anyone who requested to be added to the update list was added manually and should have received the message.  If you see any incorrect information on the District 7 website, please let me know.  You can e-mail me at techchair@pmeadistrict7.org.

The new registration form for Middle School Song Fest is now posted on the Middle School Song Fest webpage.  Please download the form, fill it out, and return to Alicia Trescavage by September 9, 2011.

The Wheatland Chorale has posted a search for a new artistic director/conductor starting in June of 2012.  Click Here for more information.

Timpanists must prepare the solo (Roll Off by Fred Hinger) on TWO DRUMS (middle drums) as written. Students will not be permitted to use additional drums to perform the solo.

The Eb Clarinet Solo (Rose Etudes) has been released in a new edition, but the etudes are identical, so either edition may be used.
